Please note that due to the high demand for young kittens, most of our kittens get adopted from our social media posts before making it to this page. Our cats must be fixed, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested and microchipped to officiate the adoption, and kittens need to be at least 8 weeks for their spay/neuter procedure. To see kittens that will be soon available, please check our Facebook and Instagram pages.
All cats are negative for FIV/FeLV unless otherwise stated.
Goldie – female, DOB: 2024

Two years old. Orange girl. Built entirely out of sunshine, curiosity, and questionable decisions involving trees.
Goldie was found wandering Burt Road between Outer Drive and Eaton, living life like the world was her personal playground. She is bold, friendly, confident, and the type of cat who walks into a room like she already knows everyone’s name.
This is not a windowsill ornament of a cat.
Goldie is an explorer. A climber. A nose-first-into-everything adventurer with bright eyes and a heart wired for fun. She loves the outdoors, loves to investigate, loves to be where the action is, and would absolutely thrive with someone who wants a little sidekick instead of a decorative pillow.
She would likely do well with other animals who respect her sparkle, and she has all the makings of an adventure cat for the right person. Harness, backpack, road trips, backyard hangouts. She is ready.
If your life could use more color, more movement, and a small orange soul who treats every day like a brand new chapter, Goldie is waiting.
Behavior with cats and dogs – unknown but probably good
Johnny Cash – male, DOB: 2023

Found in Southwest Detroit and three years old, Johnny Cash is a tabby tuxedo gentleman with old-soul charm and lover-boy instincts. Think velvet voice, steady gaze, and the kind of presence that makes a room feel quieter and warmer the moment he settles in. He sleeps stretched across your chest like it is his rightful stage, or draped over your head if you dare turn on your side. While you pet him, he looks up at you with those soft, adoring eyes, like you wrote the song and he is living in it.
Johnny is chatty in the best way. Sweet commentary, gentle opinions, never loud, never demanding. He is affectionate, deeply bonded to his person, and fully harness trained, which feels extremely on brand for a cat named Johnny Cash. He is the kind of companion who wants to be near you, with you, and very clearly chooses you every day.
Like any true legend, he comes with a few footnotes. Johnny has a chicken allergy that is easily managed by checking labels. He does great on Orijen Red and happily enjoys seafood Churu like a king. He also has a mild heart murmur that will not impact his quality of life. High maintenance, sure. Worth it, absolutely. He gives back tenfold in love, loyalty, and cuddles.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Johnny Cash is ready for a forever kind of love. Roses fade, chocolate disappears, but a cat who sleeps on your heart and looks at you like you hung the moon is the real romance. 🖤

Solana – female, DOB: 2024

Found in Cornerstone Village, Solana is about two years old and has already lived a full chapter of life, including raising kittens of her own. Now it is her turn. She is sweet and striking and a little unsure about how love works when it is meant for her. She asks for pets, growls while she gets them, then immediately leans back in for more like she is negotiating with her own feelings. It is oddly charming and very honest.
Solana shows affection in her own way. Her signature move is a nonstop little butt wiggle when she is being pet, paired with enthusiastic chin and head rubs on anything nearby, including you. She is vocal when she has something to say and unapologetic about her preferences, especially when seafood wet food is involved. She knows what she likes, and she is not afraid to tell you.
She would thrive as the only cat in the home, soaking up quiet attention and learning, at her own pace, that love doesn’t have to be complicated or rushed. Solana is not a instant fairy-tale romance. She is a slow burn that grows warmer every day.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Solana is hoping for someone who understands that the best love stories are the real ones. The ones with personality. The ones with patience. The ones that choose you back.
If you have room in your heart for a calico who is figuring things out one head scratch at a time, Solana is ready to meet you. 💗

Min – female, DOB: 2024

Found as a kitten tucked inside an engine block, Min learned early how to survive. Now, at about a year and a half old, she has traded grit for gentleness and solitude for connection. She is shy on first meeting, the kind of girl who watches carefully and decides for herself when it is safe. Once you earn her trust, she loves with her whole chest. Lap time becomes sacred. Human attention becomes her favorite place to land.
Min adores being close to her person. She settles in, relaxes fully, and gives you that rare tortie devotion that feels earned rather than automatic. She is not flashy about it. She is sincere, steady, and deeply affectionate once the bond is there.
She does have a dramatic streak when it comes to travel. Min will sing the song of her people on the way to and from the vet and she is clever enough to defeat soft carriers, so she will need a solid carrier with a metal door. Consider it part of her legend. Every great siren has a voice.
If you are the patient type, the gentle type, the kind of person who understands that the best love often takes a moment to arrive, Min may be exactly who you have been waiting for.

Maple Syrup – female, DOB: 2024

Maple Syrup is pure golden comfort in tabby form. She is affectionate to her core, the kind of cat who melts into your lap and stays there like she was poured exactly where she belongs. Once she falls asleep, she is fully committed. Pet her forever. She is not moving. Resistance is futile and honestly unnecessary.
She follows her people from room to room like a tiny supervisor with very strong opinions about cuddle frequency. The moment you wake up, she is already on her way, ready to clock in for morning affection. Head rubs are her love language. She will gently press her forehead into yours again and again, and if you fail to respond quickly enough, she will turn you into her personal blanket and settle in until proper attention is provided.
When Maple Syrup is not busy being cozy, she flips the switch and zooms. She loves to play, loves to run, and brings a joyful burst of energy to the house before settling right back into snuggle mode. She is that perfect balance of playful and deeply loving, active when it is time to move and impossibly cuddly when it is time to rest.
At two years old, Maple Syrup is fully cooked, perfectly sweet, and ready to stick by your side. If you have ever wanted a cat who feels like warmth, comfort, and unconditional affection all wrapped into one, Maple Syrup is waiting for you.

Magnum – male, DOB: 2018-2021

After five long years as a colony cat in Northwest Detroit, Magnum clocked out of outdoor life, handed in his badge, and decided it was time for soft couches, full bowls, and a steady stream of affection. Retirement looks very good on him. Especially with a Detroit Tigers collar, a bandana collection, and that unmistakable mustache that says he has stories to tell.
Magnum is the definition of gentle charm. He is a professional couch potato with a curious streak, always nearby, always watching, always ready for pets. He is a nonstop purr machine and a master biscuit maker. Booty scritches are his love language. Wet food time is his favorite daily briefing, which he supervises politely and patiently, sitting like a true gentleman until service is complete.
This tuxedo boy is sweet, calm, and deeply lovable. He does wonderfully with other cats, is good with dogs, and would be great in a home with children. Magnum has seen enough of the world to know what matters now, comfort, kindness, and someone to love him back.
Ready just in time for Valentine’s Day, Magnum is proof that the best love stories sometimes begin after the long work is done. If you are looking for a loyal companion with a soft heart, a loud purr, and retired detective energy, Magnum is ready to solve the mystery of where he belongs next. Tanya – female, DOB: 2024

Tanya has already lived several lifetimes. She raised three litters on her own outside, kept everyone alive, then finally decided she was done doing things the hard way. Now she is clocked out of motherhood, clocked into soft beds, and fully committed to her new role as a pampered indoor royal.
Her theme is simple and non-negotiable: regal energy, human devotion, zero interest in office politics with other cats.
She can live in a house with a dozen cats if she has to, but make no mistake, she is here for the people. Tanya bonds deeply with her humans, seeks their attention, and prefers her affection one-on-one, like a private audience with the queen. Other cats are background characters.
At over three years old, she knows exactly who she is. Confident. Calm. Done raising babies. Ready to be someone’s spoiled only cat, soaking up love, quiet companionship, and a warm spot that is clearly hers.
If you want a cat who will choose you every time, who carries herself like royalty, and who has already done the hardest work of her life, Tanya is ready to retire into a home where she can finally be the center of the universe.
Apply for her through the link in our bio! Long live Queen Tanya. 👑

Poppy + Iris – females, DOB: July 2025

These two sisters love to chase each other through the house, hunt their toy “mice,” and climb to secret hideouts where they can watch the world below. When playtime’s over, they can always be found curled up together in a sunny spot or cozy cardboard box making it a perfect picture of sisterly love.
Shy at first, Poppy and Iris just need a little patience to let their true colors show. Once they trust you, their sweetness blooms in full they are gentle purrs, goofy antics, and cuddles galore.
Fully weaned, spayed, and ready to find their forever garden, these two must be adopted together, after all, some flowers are meant to grow side by side. 🌼💛

Chester – male, DOB: 2024

Two years old. Orange tabby. Southwest Detroit native.
Professional sun-puddle collector. Part-time toy assassin. Full-time good boy.
Chester is one of those cats who knows how to exist beautifully in a home. When it is playtime, he is all in, batting toys like they personally offended him. When the toys are put away, he settles into calm mode, curls up, naps, waits for you to come home, and does not redecorate your furniture out of spite.
His foster caught him on camera while away at work: Chester either plays politely with his toys or sleeps like he is paying rent. No chaos. No drama. No shredded couch.
Other cats in his past were not very kind to him, and he did his best to defend himself, so we think Chester would thrive as your one-and-only.
He is energetic without being wild. Calm without being boring. Independent, but clearly fond of human company.
Chester is ready for a peaceful home, a soft place to land, and someone who wants a loyal companion instead of a full circus. Apply for Chester through the link in our bio!

Benny + Bobby – males, DOB: 2025

Identical tabby brothers. Built from stripes, spots, and pure troublemaking charm. Found together in a colony off Michigan Ave in Southwest Detroit, and absolutely not interested in being separated ever again.
They come as a set. Like socks. Or trouble and more trouble. Or sunshine and its reflection.
Benny is the brave one. Curious, social, affectionate, always first to investigate a new toy, a new sound, or your business. If something is happening, Benny is already there.
Bobby is the soft one. A little shy at first, deeply loving once he decides you are safe, and a world-class snuggle bug who believes naps should be a group activity.
Together, they are a perfect balance. One explores. One observes. Then they wrestle, groom each other, chase invisible ghosts down the hallway, and fall asleep in a tangled pile of tiger stripes and spotted bellies.
Their coats are unreal. Bold stripes on top, freckles underneath. Nature showed off a little with these two.
If you have room in your home for twice the whiskers, twice the purrs, and twice the tiny pawprints following you from room to room, Benny and Bobby are ready to clock in as your new favorite roommates.
Two boys. One bond. Zero chance you only fall in love with one. So apply for these striped boys through the link in our bio!

🐾 Roo is the more curious tuxedo brother still shy, but a bit more adventurous, finding small moments of bravery in play and affection.

Celeste & Penelope, Male & Female, Ages: 3+/1+, Special case/barn cats
Special case price of $100 for both

Celeste: he does like petting and is very cute, but he had to get one eye removed a couple years ago when they were both just still living on my porch on Clark St in SW and befriending me and pretty sure he is at least partially-blind in the other so he can be kind of jumpy and hissy and swatty bc he gets scared of sudden movements or people backing away from him. I pet him with extreme caution and sometimes use a garden tool i have taken up to his room to give him scratchies while being a little extra space from him 🙂 He has come sooooo far! the first time he let me touch him back on my old porch was a huge breakthrough moment, they both seem to like living inside enough, but would also be ok outside in a safe place as barn cats. they love to cuddle with each other and i can hear them playing at night! someone could put in more time and effort with Celeste (yes, boy named Celeste, my old roomie named him before we found out his gender), and he could become even friendlier i bet 🙂 he does like people and petting, he’s just kind of a loose canon too.
Penelope: has never let me pet her, although I love to admire her from afar and she has been letting me get closer and closer than ever before! She’ll slow blink at me, but dart across to the other side of the room frantically if I get within arms reach usually. but she has let my ex put flea meds on her twice.. super quickly…
Behavior with cats and dogs – cats good, calm dogs possible
Chai & Teddy Blue – males, DOB: July 2025, FeLV+
Special case price of $150 for both

Chai was found in the Warrendale neighborhood of Detroit by a dedicated dog rescuer. After being scooped up, she came to Detroit Alley Cats to recover from a tough life outdoors. She tested positive for FeLV at about 7 weeks old but has fought hard and is currently stable! Chai is very food motivated with an appetite nearly as big as her yellow-green eyes. She is ready for fall with her black-brown fur and growing scarf of white fur around her neck.
While Chai is warm and cozy, she has a touch of spice as her name implies. She is brave and curious, usually being the first to explore new toys and treats. When she greets you first thing in the morning she will make sure to find your nose so she can boop it with her nose. When she is nervous (at the vet) or sleepy she will bury her head into you. And when she plays she will zoom around the room chasing strings and diving head first into cardboard boxes making little meeps and chirps as she goes. She loves to climb and jump after toys, as well as to romp with her foster mate. Her energy and friendliness make her the perfect balance of playful and cuddly, and I think she would be perfect for a house with children.
——————
Double void alert! Chai and Teddy Blue’s debut as a pair, these are spiritual twins born one year apart. The perfect Halloween duo, they each bring a little bit of magic and mystery.
With big round yellow eyes, Chai is a classic Halloween cat. Warm and cozy, she has a touch of spice as her name implies. She is brave and curious, usually being the first to explore new toys and treats.
Teddy Blue Teddy Blue is bewitchingly elegant, with a sleek coat and emerald-colored eyes. His combination of sweet meekness and openly affectionate nature is sure to charm the heart of all the humans in his future forever home.
Both FeLV positive yet craving the company of another cat, these two were lucky to find another FeLV positive cat to live with. They warmed up to each other right away and have become the best of friends. They love to play together, which usually means tiny Chai is tackling and gnawing on Teddy Blue’s ear. And Teddy, gentle soul that he is, takes it like a champ, often letting Chai feel like she’s winning before standing up and bounding away playfully. Chai is Teddy Blue’s mini-shadow. These two inspire confidence in one another, with Teddy Blue providing a calm, nurturing presence for Chai, and Chai bringing out the sweetness and curiosity in Teddy Blue. They mirror each other in personality, both with a great balance of playfulness and coziness. They love to be pet and cuddle with they’re human as much as they love to play and chase a wand toy. For that reason, I think they would be great with kids.
If you give them a forever home, they will warm your lap and your heart with their sweet little meows and snuggles. Perfect for the Autumn season!
Both neutered and vaccinated – and ready for a forever home!
